Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Manchester United after 12 years has caused a 'storm' in the network. There have been a number of fans claiming some facts about the nature of his return, including the claim that Queen Elizabeth II, has ordered 80 Cristiano Ronaldo jerseys at Manchester United for her staff. The claims also say that the Queen requested that the first jersey signed by the player be reserved for her.
Are these claims true?
Did Queen Elizabeth II ask for a signed Cristiano Ronaldo shirt?
This rumor is simply untrue. The rumors started when the Sports Innovation Society posted this on Twitter:
The news has since been taken from a number of different media and social sites. The original account that posted the post on Twitter has since deleted the above notification and apologized publicly. Here is what they said:
Queen Elizabeth has personally requested that #mufc reserve the first shirt to be signed by Cristiano Ronaldo, meaning Ronaldo becomes the only human being Queen Elizabeth has asked for an autograph. [@sis] pic.twitter.com/UaaQ9VX43a

This rumor however has not stopped, despite the apology posted on Twitter by SIS. The media also took the post and repeated it as a true story, citing the same source who first posted it on Twitter - who deleted it, then apologized. No other reliable source has confirmed the news.
