The footballer has also broken a Guinness World Record, for scoring the largest number of goals in international football. Ronaldo became the top scorer in the world on Wednesday, after the Portuguese star scored a total of 111 goals in his name.
The Guinness Book of Records recognized him as the greatest international goal scorer between 2003 and 2021. As Ronaldo posed with the certificate, he expressed his gratitude for being honored with the world record in football.
"Thanks to the Guinness World Record. It is always good to be known as a world record breaker. Let’s keep trying to put the numbers even higher! ” -the footballer wrote on Instagram.
