You must have wondered how you could be sailing on the legendary Titanic. An Australian billionaire was sure that many people fascinated by the unfortunate ship, would like to try it, but avoiding the tragic sinking, of course. Thus he embarked on a grand plan to build Titanic II, an exact replica of the original ship.

How did the idea come about?

In April 2012, a billionaire named Clive Palmer set up a company called Blue Star Line, which deals with shipbuilding. His next idea is to create a replica of the legendary ship and call it Titanic II. He was sure that people fascinated by the dramatic history of the Titanic would want to experience it for themselves.

Now the company Blue Star Line is discussing construction contracts, and once everything is completed, it will announce who will build the Titanic II and set a timeline for when the ship will sail for the first time.

The new Titanic will cost about $ 500 million. It will house 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members, just like its predecessor. What will make it different from the Titanic, is that the new ship will have modern sailing equipment and plenty of boats and life jackets for everyone. The new Titanic has the same cabin structure and architecture and identical luxury elements as the Titanic.

The cost of a ticket to the new Titanic is expected to be significantly lower than the cost of its predecessor. Titanic tickets could fetch up to $ 100,000. Although prices for the new Titanic have not yet been officially announced, they can range from $ 350 to $ 900.
