Health authorities in the UK suggest that the antibody cocktail given to former President Donald Trump last year will be used for the most at-risk patients with the coronavirus in the coming weeks.

Last month, Health Secretary Sajid Javid described Ronapreve as the first treatment specifically designed to combat Covid-19 that would receive approval from Britain's drug regulators.

The Department of Health and Social Welfare recently said that this mix of antibodies would help many people, but in the foreground would be those who have difficulty creating antibodies to Covid-19.

The British government has already purchased enough doses of this drug to treat patients in hospitals starting next week.
