Billie Eilish's style has changed a lot in recent months, but not all of her fans supported this change.
The pop star talked about it on the cover of Elle in the October 2021 issue, revealing that she started losing a lot of followers when she started posting pictures with outfits that showed more of her body.
"People preserve memories and have a connection. But it is very inhuman," she said, referring to fans who expect her to continue wearing loose-fitting clothes as she once did.
Recently, the 19-year-old has changed her style, experimenting with dresses that show more shapes, such as corsets.
"I lost 100,000 followers, just because of my chest," she told Elle. "People are afraid of big breasts."
The photos of the corseted singer followed the photo shoot for British Vogue in May, where Billie appeared for the first time in a different style. But not all Eilish dresses have a definite purpose, as like all people can not wear long-sleeved T-shirts in high temperatures.
"One day I decided to wear a short blouse," she told the magazine. "It wasn't provocative either, but I know people will say, 'Heck, she's wearing sex and trying to get attention.' In fact, no! "It's 500 degrees and I just want to wear a short t-shirt."
Eilish dresses are not the only thing she has been experimenting with lately, as she also changed her green hair color to blonde.
"I could not go anywhere with that hair because I was clearly known," she said, adding that she felt "like another man" after becoming blonde and could avoid recognizing wherever she went.
However, Eilish stressed that despite the change in style or hair, she is the same man.
