With a comfortable pair of thongs, you can say "goodbye" to the lines created on your pants (or skirts) - thongs are fantastic. Poooooorrr has something else you need to know about them. Some thongs are surprisingly very comfortable (considering the fact that you are used to using them for a long time), but if the lines created by normal underwear would not be the main problem, then we all know that they you would wear them every day.

But here is a very important question: Is it worth it? Yes, you have usually sacrificed comfort just to avoid the lines created by other underwear and you have risked more than that. Are thongs dangerous to health?

Unfortunately, the answer is not black and white. If you are prone to vaginal and / or urinary tract infections, thongs are not the best choice. While in other cases, their use is not dangerous. However, there are some elements that can lead to greater irritations.

Experts advise that underwear should be made of cotton - that is, all cotton material, not just the inside. All other materials are less advisable because they do not air out, retain moisture and sweat, leading to infections.

Also, wearing thongs during the menstrual cycle can increase your risk of developing infections. However, if you follow strict hygiene and wear cotton underwear, the risk of getting infections is lower.
