Hailey Bieber is very involved and angry about the accidental death of Halyna Hutchins on the Rust set.
Alec Baldwin, the film’s producer and author of the event, is the 24-year-old model’s uncle. Hailey expressed her condolences to those affected by the tragedy, which left filmmaker dead and director Joel Souza injured.
"I want to express all my love to Halyna Hutchins family. This is a truly unimaginable and devastating tragedy," Bieber wrote on Instagram Story on Friday. "My condolences are also with Joel Souza, to whom I wish a speedy recovery."
The Los Angeles Times reports that, before her death, a large number of operators and their assistants left the group in protest of tedious working conditions, long hours and long journeys.
Security protocols - including weapons inspections - were not strictly adhered to, sources told the media. The LA Times also reported that three crew members said they were concerned about previous accidental gunshots.
