I had no bad intentions, it was a moment of carelessness and spontaneity.
I want to apologize to my nation, the people of Kosovo and Metohija, my society, my family who are confused because of the photograph taken and my recklessness and falling into the trap of someone else's bad intentions. I love and encourage my country and its values. Our state is the only symbol I carry in my heart. I just did not think when this act happened.
I am very, very sorry, so, in addition to a deep feeling, I made the decision to ask the organizers for permission to leave the competition and thus get rid of the current pressure I am holding.
