Zendaya just went down in history as the youngest winner of the CFDA Fashion Icon Award, this evening at the New York City awards ceremony. Actress and her stylist Law Roach did everything to create a triumphant look.
Zendaya looked stunning in her red dress by Vera Wang, combined with a diamond necklace, bracelet and ring. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress and singer said that the rating she received was a dream come true.
Zendaya spoke to InStyle about her November issue of perfecting red carpet poses. Does she practice them? "Sometimes I do, in fact," she said. "When I wear an outfit, I occasionally look in the mirror and see which poses work with the silhouette."
Roach reflected on ELLE.com earlier this year what it was like to wear Zendaya:
"When we do things together, we always create a story or a character. There has to be a story behind why the clothes were chosen. Who is she at that moment? It has always been my job to create that narrative, to bring the pieces into the story. Then she takes them and becomes whoever she is and arouses any emotion we have placed. "
