George Clooney has revealed that he once turned down $ 35 million for just one day of work for an airline ad. Clooney was asked by the Guardian about his upcoming film "The Tender Bar" and if he thinks he has "enough money now" before telling the story.

"Well, yes. "I was offered $ 35 million a day for an airline commercial, but I talked to my wife about it and we decided it was not worth it," said the director.

Allegedly for the long work of his wife, Amal Clooney, in human rights law, George explained that the airline is associated with "a country that is sometimes controversial and so I thought it was not worth it."

Clooney also explained why he has chosen to take a step back from acting in recent years.

"Look, I don't have to act. My wife and I had this conversation when I turned 60 this summer. I said, 'We both love what we do, but we need to make sure we don't get involved more than what "We have to. So, in short, we have to make sure we live our lives."
