Lana Del Rey arrived at the Variety's Hitmakers Awards on Saturday to receive the prestigious award.
But instead of appearing dressed in luxurious dresses by famous stylists on the red carpet, she opted for a short dress with green laces while wearing a loose black jacket.
Fans on social media immediately noticed that Del Rey's dress was from the well-known fast fashion brand Shein. According to the brand's website, the price was around $ 18.
"I absolutely lost sight of Lana Del Rey wearing an $ 18 Shein dress at the Variety Awards," one person wrote on Twitter, along with photos of the star's appearance, alongside that of the Shein model.
