Princess Charlene's father of Monaco has given some new details while the princess is recovering from her health problems.
Michael Wittstock recently told South Africa magazine "You" that the 43-year-old will get better in the coming months.
"Based on the way he trained, I know he is tough and he will get over this and come out much stronger," said the patriarch.
In May Charlene traveled to her family's homeland in South Africa. Shortly afterwards, the mother of the twins had complications in her ear, nose and throat from a previous medical procedure. She was settled in South Africa for the last 6 months away from her family after undergoing some corrective surgeries.
Whittstock said he and Charlene's mother, Lynette, were unable to visit the princess at the time out of care due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, he said they have maintained contacts.
"We talk regularly on the phone and I talk to the twins," Wittstock told the media. "We have a great relationship."
The princess herself has reacted on social networks, publishing a photo of the twins on the occasion of their birthday, with the caption:
"Happy birthday to my little ones. Thank God you blessed me with such wonderful children. I am truly blessed. I love you, mom! ”
