Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has reacted to speculation over her marriage to musician Nick Jonas.
The famous couple got married in December 2018 in an extravagant Christian and Hindu ceremony. As of November last year, rumors began circulating that their three-year marriage was in crisis. This news started when the 39-year-old actress updated her name on social networks from @PriyankaChopraJonas to @PriyankaChopra.
On the February cover of Vanity Fair magazine, recently published, Chopra discussed how constant control of social media has changed the way she directs her career and personal life.
"It is a very vulnerable feeling, in fact, that if I post a photo, everything behind me in that photo will be magnified and people will speculate," the actress admitted. "It's just a professional risk ... Because of the noise of social media, because of the spread it has in our lives, I think it seems a lot bigger than it is. I think we give it a lot more confidence in real life and "I do not think it is necessary."
Priyanka went on to discover that she has become more cautious and introverted because, according to her, "being the center of attention takes a piece of the soul".
"Constantly trying to make sure you say the right thing, do the right thing, dress properly, make no mistake, do not travel, because the whole world will watch," she explained.
Even Chopra's husband, Nick Jonas, said during the interview that the couple have set boundaries to ensure a level of privacy and "create a small safe haven for themselves with friends and family".
Looking ahead, Chopra said having a baby together is a great desire of both for the future and that despite their busy agendas, they are not too busy trying to have a baby.
