Bella Hadid says the feeling that she could not "control" herself was what made her stop drinking alcohol six months ago.
"I have control over the consumption of alcohol. "I liked alcohol and I got to the point where I started to cancel the nights when I felt like I could not control myself," the model told InStyle.
Hadid said it also became very difficult for him to consume alcohol after a doctor showed him scans revealing the effects alcohol has on the brain. She told the media that she plans to stay sober in the future.
"I no longer feel the need to drink because I know how it will affect me at 3 o'clock in the morning when I wake up with terrible anxiety." Hadid accepted.
Earlier this month, Hadid also spoke out about her "torturous" mental health battles. The Victoria's Secret model admitted that she was "in such a weird place mentally" that it was challenging for her to even leave the house. "
"In the last year, it has been very important for me to learn that even if people talk about my style, whether they like it or not, it does not matter, because it is my style," she added.
Hadid previously revealed that she "suffered from extreme depression and anxiety" in a post shared on Instagram last year.
