The well-known Albanian actor, Arben Shaka, passed away yesterday at the age of 70.

The sad news was announced by the actor's family through a post on the social network Facebook.

The actor's 30-year career began in 1966, when he played the role of driver in the pantomime "Driver and Passenger", when he was only 15 years old. While in 1968, Shaka started his professional career on the stage of the Tirana Variety Theater.

Later, at the insistence of Telat Agolli, at that time the artistic leader of the circus, Shaka became involved in the circus world.

Among his most notable successes was the film "Circus in the Village" (1977), where he played the role of Agron. Arben Shaka has had many other successful roles both in television varieties and in pop

He first starred in a 1969 film Why This Drum Fell. In 1972, he starred in her second film, The Odyssey of Fans.

In September 1998, Shaka emigrated with his family to Greece.
