Writer Bardhyl Londo has passed away at the age of 74, after a long battle with a serious illness.
He was hospitalized for two months in the Oncology Hospital in Tirana and during the last 10 days his situation had worsened and he could not survive the disease.
Bardhyl Londo is a very famous poet and songwriter. Bardhyl Londo studied language and literature at the University of Tirana. After graduating from the faculty he worked for several years as a teacher in Përmet and then for the literary newspaper "Drita". For some time he has been the president of the "League of Writers and Artists" (LSHA). His literary creativity includes 8 volumes of poetry as well as several novels. He is the winner of the "Migjeni" award.
