Amadeus has been confirmed as the artistic director for two other editions of Sanremo. The news has just been confirmed by the Italian media and by the artistic director himself. For another two years, 2023 and 2024, Amadeus will be in charge of Sanremo. The 73rd and 74th editions of this festival have been entrusted with the same name, which has directed and moderated for 3 years in a row the most important edition of Italian music.

Leading the festival for the next two years, Amadeus equals Mike Bongiorno in the '60s and Pippo Baudo in the' 90s.

Amadeus' latest success - not only for viewership records, but also for its high level of performance - has convinced Rai CEO Carlo Fuortes, along with director Stefano Coletta, to entrust him with the keys to Ariston for another two years.

Fiorello even joked about Amadeus running Sanremo less than a month ago when he said: "Amadeus has already agreed to do the fourth and fifth festivals and I will be back." Here the "prophecy" happened and Amadeus was confirmed.

According to the latest media data, the latest editions run by Amadeus have been the most attended festivals in the last 20 years.
