Vladimir Putin's "secret girl" has been at the center of headlines these weeks. Elizaveta Krivonogikh, better known as Luiza Rozova, was made public as the illegitimate daughter of the war leader by a Russian media last year. The 18-year-old, from St. Petersburg, closed her Instagram account a few days ago after being flooded with comments and insults online.

Louise's mother is Svetlana Krivonogikh, who was romantically involved with Putin in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Svetlana worked as a cleaner before becoming one of the richest women in the country. The 45-year-old millionaire attended St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance. In 2021, Svetlana's name - and most importantly her overseas fortune - was rumored to be associated with the Pandora Papers.
