Kourtney Kardashian married Travis Barker in an extraordinary ceremony at Castello Broën in Portofino, Italy on May 22nd.

She was wearing a white dress, with Dolce & Gabbana corset, covered with delicate floral lace on the bottom, sides and sleeves. She added to the look a long veil embroidered with a design of the Virgin Mary and the words "Respect for family loyalty" below her.

After the ceremony, she changed the veil with a shorter version.

You may not have noticed, but Kourtney's hand-embroidered veils matched the tattoos Travis has engraved on his head. He has previously spoken of numerous tattoos, including the Virgin Mary on the head, explaining why many of them have a religious theme.

"I got the tattoo of the Virgin Mary when I was 18, 19 and grew up as a Catholic," he told Vice in 2015. "I definitely pray; I believe in God. I definitely think I'm blessed. I do not go to church. "Every day and I do not push people towards religion. But I believe in God and I pray, my children pray too."

The day before the wedding ceremony, Kourtney wore another Dolce & Gabbana short dress, this time in black, with an Emblem of the Virgin Mary on the front. She added to the dress a short black veil with blue embellishment, long black gloves and sandals with straps.
