Kasia Gallanio, the former princess of Qatar, has been found dead at her home in Marbella.
Billionaire Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani's third wife, Gallanio, has died at the age of 45 amid a legal battle with her ex-husband, whom she has accused of sexually harassing one of their children.
Kasia claimed that the ex-husband sexually abused one of their three daughters, although he has denied the allegations. She was found dead Sunday morning in Spain and the first suspicions are that the cause of death is overdose.
The former couple are the parents of two 17-year-old twins, who initially lived with Al Thani before deciding to live with their mother in Marbella. They also have another daughter, who is 15 years old and lives in Paris.
Gallanio said in a recent interview with ' Women's World' that the girls wanted to live with him, but his ex-wife did not allow him, and even cut off contact with her father.
The ex-spouses have been in a fierce legal battle for custody of their children for 15 years. Al Thani accused the victim of being addicted to alcohol and having mental health problems.
Although no post-mortem examination will be performed, initial investigations indicate that Gallanio died of a drug overdose.
Her body showed no signs of physical violence, reports "Le Parisien".
