Vladimir Putin and his girlfriend, former gymnast Alina Kabaeva, are said to be parents to a baby girl. According to the 'General SVR Telegram channel' - an account citing sources close to the Kremlin, Putin is giving birth to a 'war child'.

The 69-year-old president is said to have had two children with 39-year-old Alina Kabaeva.

The same sources report that when the news was learned, Putin did not express enthusiasm, and even complained: 'I have enough children, as I had enough daughters a long time ago.'

Putin's private life is shrouded in secrecy, and it is not even known exactly how many children he has and who his real family is.

The only daughters known to be his are Maria Vorotsova, a 37-year-old academic and businesswoman, and Katerina Tikhonova, a 35-year-old former dancer and scientist. Both daughters come from Putin's marriage to ex-wife Lyudmila.

In March 2015, Kabaeva was said to have given birth to a son at a VIP clinic in Switzerland. While in 2019 it was reported that she gave birth to twins in Moscow. This year, a gynecologist told Swiss media that the twins were boys, meaning Putin has two sons, aged 7 and 3, from his girlfriend, who was once awarded the Honored Master of Sports award.
