First of all, we all sweat and we all know that no matter how strong and high-quality the deodorant is, it cannot avoid the excessive sweat caused by the body and this remains an open problem.  

Experts, in fact, recently propose some options that solve once and for all the situation of excessive sweat. If you're looking for ways to sweat as little as possible, you have a total of three options: Botox, Miradry, and extreme antiperspirants.

Where should you start? Dermatologist Dhaval Bhanusali, MD, points out the differences between these three treatments.

1. Botox

Botox can be injected into the chest area to relieve sweating. "Botox works by blocking the neurotransmitters that stimulate the sweat glands," says Bhanusali. The treatment is temporary and you have to repeat it every four months.

2. "Miradry" treatment

During a treatment known as "Miradry", a thermal energy (and cold at the same time) works, which "surely destroys" the sweat glands. To begin with, the place where the tool will be placed is temporarily colored in the skin. Then, the doctor holds a device that administers energy against the armpit area in circular motions.

"This choice tends to be permanent for armpit sweat," continues Bhanusali. "Many patients first try to try elimination from the organs they sweat every day, also because they want to "save" once and for all." However, Miradry can be a painful solution. "The treatment takes 15-20 minutes and definitely and, in many cases, can be intense, but usually local anesthetic and forms such as Pronox (nitrogen gas) are injected, so the patient tends to feel minimal discomfort."

3. Extreme deodorants

Extreme antiperspirants are becoming more and more available and are considered a quick fix. Bhanusali says the side effects of these products include skin irritation and dryness, and sometimes itching (which usually also signals allergies).

Dr. Sweat is an antiperspirant that dermatologists have analyzed and concluded that it can protect you from sweat more than any other deodorant (it costs only $19). Bhanusali recommends it as a high quality product. He said that the effects of this product have lasted longer than any other product he has used before.
