New colors for hearts, a denying head and a goose are some of the new icons expected to be introduced soon.
The Unicode Consortium list contains a set of 21 new 'emoji', unlike last year when 112 were added to the list, which included pregnant people, crutches and the low battery symbol.
The new 'emoji' include blue, gray and pink hearts, which have been a frequent request from users, new animals, bird wings, lanterns, some fruits and vegetables, WiFi symbol Eej.
The icons will go through a round of approval before being launched in September. Emojipedia says that while some of the small icons may not make it to the final version, others have been confirmed.
The designs are illustrations from Emojipedia for the Emoji Pack 15.0. Apple, Samsung, and Microsoft must create their own icon designs.
