Luiza Gega is one of the fastest girls in the world in the 3000m hurdles, placing fifth in the final of the World Athletics Championships, in a race where she excelled with her performance.

On the track, Luiza again showed that she is the best Albanian athlete, recording a time of 9:10.04 and automatically setting a new national record in this discipline.

Even the 33-year-old dibrane lowers the record by more than 4 seconds, which means that the time achieved in the World Cup is fantastic.

The previous record in this discipline was held by Gega with a time of 9:14.29, which was set on July 1 at the Mediterranean Games, Oran 2022.
