Actor Johnny Depp has made nearly £3 million in just a few hours by selling his first art collection.
Depp sold 780 prints through Castle Fine Art's 37 galleries within hours of announcing the sale on Instagram.

The Friends And Heroes collection features people who have inspired him, including Rolling Stone's Keith Richards and Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor.
"I have always used art to express my feelings," said the 59-year-old. "My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should limit themselves."
The actor said he used his art, which also featured actor Al Pacino and legend Bob Dylan, to reflect on those who matter most to him, such as family, friends and people he admires.

All 780 lots were sold within hours on Thursday. Individual framed images sold for £3,950 and the complete portfolio of four images for £14,950.
Depp's Instagram post, captioned only "Now at #CASTLEFINEART", caused a rush of people to the gallery's website causing it to be blocked.
