Princess Charlotte is following in her mother's footsteps in terms of style and influence on other people. On Tuesday, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge accompanied her parents on day six of the Commonwealth Games, held in Birmingham.

But more than Kate and William, 7-year-old Charlotte received attention at the event. She appeared wearing a striped turtleneck dress by one of her most frequent designers, Rachel Riley.

The dress costs £39 and from the moment Charlotte was spotted in it, the dress sold out in less than 24 hours. Unbelievable but true!

The dress has proved to be in such demand that the designer will offer a waiting list for it.

This isn't the first time Charlotte has made such an impact. Last year, when the Princess turned six, she wore a floral dress by Rachel Riley to pose for the official birthday photos.

The dress cost £59 and became the best-selling item in the brand's 25-year history. It sold out within 12 hours.

Speaking to HELLO!, Rachel said at the time: "It was such a treat when I saw it! It was a lovely surprise, I wasn't expecting it at all and I was gardening at the time! I found out about the photo when my friends and the family started texting me asking if the dress was ours!"

Well, the power of Charlotte!
