Amber Kotrri, whose boutique won a lawsuit against fashion giant Zara, revealed more details about the process in an exclusive interview with Euronews Albania.

She also talked about the special connection that not only her brand has, but also that one has with Albania.

' I feel very happy, of course, it was a win for me and for my business, but also for many other people in the world. It seems like everyone is celebrating together' , said Amber, then recounting the confrontation with the court process.

' More than 1 year ago, I received a letter from the lawyers of Inditex, who own Zara, and it was a letter asking me to rename or close the store. And if I didn't do that, they would take legal action. Obviously I didn't sign the letter, I didn't want to close the shop and they took legal action. We went to court, but in the end we won .

She considers the connection with Albania very special, so she also emphasizes that the name of the store for her family expresses a very strong connection:

' My husband is Albanian. It is very important for me that our children learn Albanian. I feel a strong connection there. The brand was created in Albania, so the name naturally came from the word "zana", which you know the meaning of. It has a special meaning to me, so when Zara told me that I was using that name to copy them, to use the business, I thought it was funny, because the name "Fairy House" means a lot to me and for my family' .

Amber added that she often comes to Albania and that she loves this country very much: 'I love your country. It holds a very big place in my heart…. Mostly, I love people. When I come there, I feel at home, everyone is welcoming. It's a feeling you can't explain. i tell people here how great your country is. I think it's one of my favorite places. I love'.
