Maybe it's too soon to say, but it seems like history repeats itself for all talented Albanians who start a new life outside of Albania. After the utmost efforts to find a safe place for their talent in the homeland, the tangles of bureaucracies, successive offices and endless firms, once they cross the border things become simpler by themselves – with a snap of a finger. Not that the road is paved for their passion and profession, but if these two are strong and the work is great, everything goes in its own direction and quite naturally towards success.

Unfortunately, they are little talked about, although they are many. Year after year, other talented young people leave to find themselves in another country to realize their dreams. We locals let us wait for them until one day they obey and return to contribute to their homeland.

However, there is still time for Irsa Golem. She is only 20 years old, but very talented in her profession/s. The decision and the journey to Germany was not easy at all, but as soon as she set foot there, with ambition and will, for a very short time, Irsa shone... In the first sense of the word.

For a student from Shkodër who has been involved in the cultural and artistic activities of her city since childhood, it is not so easy to leave and start all over again in Germany. But Irsa made this decision 2 years ago, with the conviction that she would find herself quickly. And so it happened.

Who is Irsa Golemi?

Born and raised in an established family in Shkodër, Irsa is proud of her origins, because there, in her birthplace, she was strongly taught the values ??of a high level of education, to create the image of a girl with down to earth, independent and fulfilled.

That 's why I headed to Germany to get to know and challenge myself in all dimensions. I've been living here for two years now and studying at the Cologne State University for Television Media Science and International Business. The latter focuses on economics and media management. I qualified in journalism and moderation and I worked as an editor and moderator at Köln radio", - Irsa starts to introduce herself, and with that it is understood that you are not at all dealing with a 20-year-old studying any branch at the university, which part of the second of the day is spent in cafes with friends or that fills the time with ordinary things.

Studies in Television Media Sciences were not Irsa's main goal. Recently, she was part of a 'Casting Tour' held by Stage School Hamburg (Germany's first and largest performing arts school) and based on her acting and singing skills, was selected among hundreds of foreigners to study 'Performing arts/Musical Theatre' (the first Albanian to win such a branch at this university).

Based on her outstanding performances, Irsa was given the opportunity to work at one of the largest television stations in Germany, NDR (Norddeutsche Rundfunk or North German Television), where, in addition to employment, she has the opportunity to obtain qualifications in others in the field of presentation:

"I want to reach higher levels in my performances in the future. Of course, the eloquence in speaking a foreign language, in German, also helps me a lot, as well as the passion and great desire I have to penetrate the art and media industry in a foreign country", Irsa tells Class. adding that the challenge was not only that: "I am now the first Albanian to study at Stage School Hamburg in the Musical department".

But his artistic beginnings were not in Germany. How can it be otherwise for a girl from Shkodra? Since the age of 6, I have been active at the Children's Cultural Center in Shkodër, where I have been declared the winner of first prizes in interpretation competitions many times. Later, I was entrusted with the roles of the presenter in the year-end programs, then continuing with acting, in many leading roles in dramas. In a considerable number of them, I was also the protagonist, and I was even declared the 'Best Protagonist Actress' at the 'Migjeni' Theater, awarded by the director of the Theatre, Mrs. Rita Gjeka'.

In addition to presenting and acting, Irsa has also participated in fashion shows and many other cultural activities. Of course, without leaving aside the song and the participation in the Youth Festivals held in Shkodër.

In order not to leave the song behind, as soon as she went to Germany, Irsa started taking singing lessons at the school of the well-known soprano Migena Gjata, Elvana Gjata's sister. In fact, he became so familiar and passionate about her that he calls her the main drive to achieve and touch other successes in the future: ' Besides my family (which is the biggest supporter for me), Migena is my main drive in Germany , which has pushed me towards the realization of my dreams.'

Many factors can influence towards the final goal and the biggest dream, but for Irsa it seems that the obstacles have been cleared. As long as the passion continues to lead its way to success and as long as the biggest dream seems to be close... What is left is simply a matter of time.
