A girl who recently moved in with her boyfriend has defended the couple's choice to have separate bedrooms. In a video showing their arrangement on TikTok (@carsynvsot), Carsyn Soto explained:
"When you and your boyfriend finally live together, but you want separate rooms so you can still have your own space and decorate it however you want."
In the caption accompanying the video, she added:
"At least he keeps his room clean most of the time."
Soto's video has been viewed over 2.7 million times, and many of her TikTok followers express their confusion over the deal.
"So you're roommates," one commented.
"Okay, but question? Do you sleep in the same room? Curious!" wrote another.
While some others were sympathetic to the agreement.
"I don't see anything wrong with that," one person commented.
Many people even said that they have similar structures in their home and it helps everyone to have his/her own personal space.
