David Beckham was emotional saying goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II after queuing for more than 12 hours to pay his respects to the late queen.
The British soccer star was seen wiping away tears inside Westminster Hall on Friday. He was also seen holding his head in his hands as he stood with other mourners.
He was without his famous family at 2:00am on Friday morning and waited over 12 hours to see the Queen.
Beckham seemed unfazed by the attention he received in line and reportedly bought some donuts for the lucky few to keep them energized as they waited in the long line, one person wrote on Twitter.
A source told the Daily Mail that Beckham was initially not being photographed by fans out of respect, but that all changed as the day went on and many people crowded around the star tried to take photos.
"I was so lucky to be able to have a few moments in my life with Her Majesty," he told ITV News on Friday. "A sad day, but it's a day to remember the incredible legacy she left."
Beckham said he was "devastated" after learning the Queen died last week.
