Kivanç Tatlitug and Serenay Sarikaya, two of the most sought-after and paid actors in Turkey today, have been invited to star in a new series, 'If the King loses'.
The series, based on the novel by Professor Doctor Gulseren Budayioglu, which tells the story of a patient, was expected to start filming soon. But, apparently, the crazy demand of the two main actors has put the shooting on hold for the moment.
The actor reportedly asked for 1.5 million Turkish Lira (over $80,000) per episode, while his partner in the series, Serenay Sarikaya, asked for 1 million Turkish Lira after learning the figure requested by Tatlitug. According to Turkish media, when the producer learned the crazy figures of both actors, he decided to give up these protagonists and look for other actors.
