Cardi B attacked Madonna because of a post that the latter made on social networks.
“I've paid homage to this woman so many times because I grew up listening to her…she can say what she has to say without putting on the clown emoji and talking shit. These icons get really frustrating once you get into the industry,” the 30-year-old rapper wrote in a now-deleted post.
Cardi was upset about Madonna's post, which suggested that her 1992 erotic book "Sex" paved the way for today's female artists.
"Besides pictures of me naked, there were pictures of men kissing men, women kissing women, and me kissing them all," Madonna wrote of the controversial book.

The Queen of Pop explained that she "spent the next few years being interviewed by narrow-minded people who tried to shame her for her empowerment as a woman," noting that she was called all sorts of epithets, adding :
“Now Cardi B can sing for WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her bare butt, and Miley Cyrus can come in as a wrecking ball. You are welcome whore…….”
Many sided with Cardi B, agreeing that Madonna's last sentence was offensive.

However, a few hours later, Cardi informed her followers that she and Madonna had spoken and cleared things up between them. They even exchanged some words of love on social media.

Much ado about nothing!
