Migos member Takeoff has been shot dead after a party in Houston. Two other people were injured, but Houston police have not yet released the names of the victims pending notification of next of kin. A second band member, Quavo, 31, was also at the party but was not injured.
While the third member, Takeoff's cousin, was reportedly not there. Police say 40 to 50 guests were at a private party when someone opened fire. Security guards in the area heard the shots, but did not see who fired the gun.
Hours before the shooting, Takeoff shared a photo of himself on Instagram. He had just published the video clip of his new song "Messy" the day before.
The group Migos is a hip-hop group from the Atlanta area, known for songs such as "Versace", "Fight Night" and "Look at My Dab".
