Albanian names that are successful in Turkish cinematography are increasing more and more and the latest is the actor Ervis Bellollari. He is part of the well-known and highly watched series in Albania, "Osmani", where the actor Burak Özçivit also performs.
In a connection with Skype for the "Morning ABC" show, Ervisi has told how he became part of this series, the meeting on the set with Burak Özçivit and his experience in this series.
"I am 23 years old, I am originally from Pogradec, but I grew up in Librazhd. I studied in Turkey and since I was 7 years old I wanted to be part of Turkish series. When I looked at them from the screen, I said that I will go there one day. I am one of the defenders of the Ottoman fortress, one of the highest positions you can have is this. There are also three Albanian actors from Macedonia who play there.
The first day I went to the shoot, I didn't want to feel far away and I approached. The first one to come was Burak Özçivit and I told him: 'I'm from Albania. It's a pleasure to be part of the series," Belollari confessed, further showing what happens during filming.
"The swords are real and my hands are scarred. I said don't take me to war anymore, leave me in the position of the Ottoman fortress. There are actors who were killed and went to the hospital. What doesn't happen is like a real war", he concluded.
