The well-known Albanian composer Valentin Veizi, twice winner of the Song Festival in 96-97', with the interpretations of Elsa Lila, seems today to be in a "cold war" with the latter and the reason is again the Song Festival .
"Pyes Lotin" by Veizin has come in another version by Elsa Lila and rapper Capital T, but this brought an immediate reaction from Veizin, who demanded that his song not be dirty.
In an exclusive interview for the journalist of Euronews Albania, the composer says that he did not talk to Elsa Lila, while he felt pain when he saw his song deformed.
"They should have communicated with me about this opinion they had. I have no reason to talk to anyone, I'm not going to trade in phone conversations. I watch my song on YouTube, on the screen, I listen to it with another author, a song that I am proud of "Pyes Loti". I said don't mess with me, actually it's more, it's pain. I'd rather not have listened to it in fact, I felt bad when I heard that song in the version that was presented", he emphasized.
After Veiz's complaint, YouTube has vindicated him by deleting the song from the new version. He shows that it is not a personal war but with the phenomenon of robbery and alienation of songs, without the permission of the authors.
"I ask Loti, "he takes XY, without permission, and does it as he pleases. "I broke a laurel leaf" is taken by another rapper, "For you at home" is taken by someone else. What remains? The Albanian song culture is changing, the damage is very strong. I'm not against the behavior in time, I have many songs that are behaved differently, but without changing the structure, and you have to be careful with this work. Untouchable, there are some things that are not touched. Don't touch them lest they burn you, don't touch the fire. You can take someone's land, that is, take them out of the house, but you can't take art", underlined Veizi.
The lyricist of 'Pyes Lotin' is the poet Enrieta Sina, while Veizi is a gold disc winner as a song composer, rated as one of the 13 best composers in America, today the author of several songs, a conductor, where recently has composed the music of several Albanian and foreign films.
