After 15 years at the top of the music charts, even though he is going through dark times, Justin Bieber has decided to sell his entire music catalog for the staggering figure of 200 million dollars.

The company responsible for acquiring his rights will be Hipgnosis Songs Capital, backed by Blackstone.

The Hypnosis founder was quick to praise Bieber and his work in music over the years.

"Justin Bieber's impact on global culture over the past 14 years has been truly remarkable," Merck Mercuriadis, founder of Hipgnosis Song Management, said Tuesday.

With the deal completed, Hipgnosis gets Bieber's share of the rights to some of his biggest hits, including "Baby," "What Do You Mean," "Sorry" and "Love Yourself."

With over 150 million records sold, the 28-year-old Canadian singer is one of the best-selling artists of all time. This purchase ranks among the largest deals ever made for an artist under the age of 70.
