Although being in a romantic relationship is a wonderful situation to be in, not everyone gets to go through all of its ups and downs. This results in the separation of the pair, with both individuals injured.
Of course, there's no point in being in a relationship that isn't right for you. But if you feel like there's a glimmer of hope left, consider giving your partner one last chance. Additionally, ask yourself the following questions before you consider ending your relationship.
- Maybe something important happened in my life and I'm just reflecting that stress on my relationship?
- Or am I just "fat" from the routine? Is there anything I can do about this?
- What is the first choice that comes to mind if I trust (only) my intuition and instinct?
- Do I like the person I am when I am close to my partner?
- Is there someone other than me who is influencing my decision?
- Do I and my partner share the same basic values?
- Would I like my child to be with someone like my partner in the future?
- Is separation a kind of "behavior pattern" for me?
- How and how much will my happiness depend on this action? Will I feel happier/liberated if I separate?
- Is this (relationship or separation) what I need and what I want in my life right now?
