When it comes to violence, Zhaklin Lekatar's voice is always heard.
She has spoken about the criticism and systematic violence she has felt, not only from the numerous online comments referring to the materials she publishes on her blog, but also from her ex-partner.
"It was a personal relationship in which I felt violated and I was violated. And considering that this event or this personal story was very short, it lasted very little, not even a year, but it was very intense. At that age, I thought that I was a strong woman, I was a feminist, I had understood some things from life, I found myself totally unprepared in that violence. And I realized that I wasn't strong enough" - said Lekatari for the show "S' e luan Topi".
"I was systematically violated. I was violated when I was not respected in line, I was violated when my opinion was not respected, I was violated when my presence at work was not respected, I was violated when my word has no weight because it is the word of a woman. I've been abused in this country. I continue to be abused. I can't say I haven't been abused because I'm on TV. No, it's not true. The comments I've received are all verbal abuse.
I can't say that I started this because I had an experience of violence when I was 20 years old. No, I experience this every day. And I'm not going to stop in front of her."
