A child actor who played a small role in the classic Titanic has revealed that he is still being paid for his role in the film which was released 25 years ago.
Reece Thompson, now a digital marketing director in Utah, played an Irish third-class passenger in James Cameron's 1998 hit when he was five.
He appeared in a tragic and memorable scene where the ship was filling with water, while Reece's character, his sister and mother are seen lying in their cabin awaiting death after failing to get a seat on one of the lifeboats.
Reece only says one phrase in the film: "What are we going to do, Mom?".
The mother replies: "We are waiting for the first class people to be put in the rafts, then they will take us. We must be ready, agreed?".
Regarding his role, he told an Australian television station that he still gets his share from this film.
"I still get the checks, it's true. But, I haven't updated my address in several years, so I haven't received the money. You (journalists) are more interested in this than I am," says Reece Thompson.
