Albania was ranked 22nd out of 26 representative countries in Eurovision. Albina and the Kelmendi Family made a decent performance, but this was not enough to get a better ranking, although the expectations were high.
The first reaction to this disappointing result came from Albina's husband, Valon Vataj, according to whom this festival no longer has any value.
"Politics triumphed as usual against the Albanian territories. Eurovision has no value from a professional and human perspective! My family is the winner of the preservation of musical and national values", he wrote on social networks.
