In the framework of the visit to Albania of the former President of the USA, Bill Clinton, the Police of Tirana has taken a series of detailed measures, starting from Rinas airport, escorting to Tirana in the places where the meetings will take place, accommodation and escort towards Rinas, at the end of the visit.
One of the measures of the detailed plan consists in ensuring the passage of the former president of the United States of America, who will hold meetings on July 3 and 4, 2023, in the city of Tirana.
In this context, the State Police informs the citizens that there will be blockages of some road segments, as well as partial blockages of some other segments, depending on the meetings and activities that will take place during these two days, in Tirana.
Motorists should use the secondary road from Vora, to drive towards Rinas airport, as on 03.07.2023, from 14:00 to 15:30, the roads will be blocked: From Rinasi -
Qafa of Kashari - Overpass to Casa Italia - Underpass to the former "Shqiponja" square.
Also, these roads will be blocked on 04.07.2023, from 13:30 to 15:30.
Other streets that will be blocked are:
"Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, from the intersection of the Ministry of the Interior to "Mother Teresa" square, "Ismail Qemali" street, "Papa John Paul II" street, "Ibrahim Rugova" street and street "Free Ukraine".
