"Everything we encounter on a daily basis is a form of energy that we need to decipher," says Maggie Wilson, numerology expert and author of The Metaphysical Cannabis Oracle Deck. "Numerology is the vibrational energy that numbers carry, translated into symbols and meanings. When we see these numbers appear frequently, it is an energetic message. The more you see it, the stronger the message it's trying to get across to you.”
When you see your birthday number, you can think of it as a confirmation. According to Wilson, the world around you is responding to your energy with a vibrational match that is positive and calming. The universe is telling you to stop being so hard on yourself.
"The constant message of your birthday can be a reminder that everything is happening for you," she says. This can also be a "big signal" for you to discover more about your life path.
Numerologist Corie Chu says it can serve as a reminder of your goals in life. If you've been feeling stuck or lost, take some time to reassess where you are in life and where you'd ideally like to be.
"Focus and ask yourself if what you're doing at work or on a personal level matches you," says Chu. "Analyze carefully how you are spending your day. See how much of your time and energy is spent doing things you enjoy and how connected you feel to them.”
If you find that you're spending most of your energy on things that don't give you a sense of fulfillment, make changes.
"Your birthday number signals that you need to pursue new dreams and bring new people into your life, which may ultimately mean leaving the past behind," says Comen.
