Alfred Vefa, the ex-husband of Klodiana Vefa, the 36-year-old murdered on Thursday evening in Florence, was found dead. Alfred Vefa was found in an isolated area of ??the municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa. According to the initial hypotheses of the investigators, Alfred Vefa shot himself with the same weapon that killed Klodiana on September 28.
Investigators had been on his trail for several hours, while the alarm was raised by a citizen who noticed a suspicious, parked and abandoned car around 04:00 today (September 30). The police immediately intervened and found that it was Alfred Vefa's car. The police forces organized a quick search operation in the surrounding rural areas and at 06:00 in the morning Alfred Vefa's body was found dead.
The tragic event happened just before 20:00 on Thursday, a few meters from the house where she lived with her two children, aged 14 and 17, but no longer with her husband Alfred, 45, also Albanian, with whom she was separating.
It was the little daughter of Klodiana Vefa, the 36-year-old Albanian who was killed with three pistol bullets on the street in Castelfiorentino, who told her brother that her mother was no longer alive.
"Run, mom is dead."
From what is reported in the Italian media, Klodiana and Alfredi were legally separating. It is said that recently there were many arguments between them, centered on the jealousy of the ex-husband.
Friends of Klodiana Vefa have described her husband as a violent man.
"A few years ago, she finally managed to separate from her husband, he was not a good man. He was a violent man, we all knew. He subjected her to psychological violence. She was always smiling and happy, she changed completely when she was with him. He was a scary man, but she never denounced him."
