Food and sex are two of life's greatest pleasures — and now science says they're even better when combined. (We knew it!)

Researchers from the University of Oslo in Norway have discovered that "stroking in bed" doesn't give as much pleasure if you're hungry.

The gut hormone that drives the motivation to eat and increases after eating was linked to levels of satisfaction.

However, beware! You don't have to eat too much when you know you're in for a romantic adrenaline rush. You should wait at least 60 minutes after a 'heavy' meal before having sex.

The expert added that "highly fermentable carbohydrates such as dairy products, breads and fruits such as apples and cherries can cause gas and bloating", so you may want to avoid the uncomfortable circumstances..:)
