Researchers in the United States presented a study in which they concluded that men can be considered adults only when they turn 54 years old. To complete the project, 1,000 men were followed, taking into account their lifestyle, habits and professional life.

The discovery, published by the "Telegraph" newspaper, showed that only at the age of 54 do men feel completely confident and fulfilled, to enjoy life as "real adults".

The study suggests that this happens with today's man, who takes longer to reach this stage, and this is due to the pressures of modern life, such as a financial situation and the postponement of parenthood. Insecurities related to physical appearance, financial status, and personal problems hinder the maturity of many men, who do not directly address their problems and continue to act like teenagers.

Men have emphasized that the fear of not being able to provide their own home, hair loss and the entire aging process frighten most of them.
