Billie Eilish's third album, 'Hit me hard and soft', is less than a month away and ahead of its release, the two-Oscar and nine-Grammy winner reveals how the new project brings back memories of her first album.
Eilish, 22, who released 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?' in 2019, said working on new album 'Hit me hard and soft' has made her feel like she's reconnecting with herself her past.
The singer said that she is not releasing any songs from the album, because she does not like when songs from albums are released separately.
" They come out of the context of the album ," she said.
Then, she added that one of the album's songs, titled 'Lunch', has helped her open up about her sexuality.
' That song helped me become who I am. To be true. I wrote part of it before I had a romantic relationship with a girl, then I finished it. I've been in love with girls all my life, but I didn't understand it... I never thought I'd talk about my sexuality .'
Also, she showed that she did not want people to recognize her, to maintain the image of the mysterious. However, she already sees the new album as an opportunity to change this perception, showing the world her true self.
