The Socialist Party will officially open the campaign for the local elections on May 11 this Saturday. Prime Minister Edi Rama has warned through a public reaction that tomorrow marks the moment of the official start of the electoral race, describing it as "the day of the official gong's fall."
"This is not a campaign like any other. It is a battle to continue the path of transformation, to deepen the results and to embrace the innovations that a new local mandate brings," Rama said.
In this new phase, the SP promises a strong commitment to sustainable development, innovation in local governance and greater outreach to the community. The campaign will open with a major event in Tirana, where local leaders will be introduced, program innovations and is expected to set the tone for the entire electoral race, which is expected to be dynamic.
