Yesterday evening at the magnificent Kanina Castle turned into a rare cultural event, where history, art and music merged into a spectacle that will remain long in the memory of Albanian art. In this ancient space, filled with centuries of history and national memory, the greatest names of Albanian art shone: the master of the word Timo Flloko, the wonderful soprano Ermonela Jaho and the virtuoso tenor Saimir Pirgu.
The magic of art and words
At the helm of this evening was Timo Flloko himself, a master of emotions and deep thought, who combined the power of words with the musical notes of Jaho and Pirgu, to present a synthesis of art and spirit that left the audience breathless.
Ermonela Jaho, the most famous Albanian soprano in the world, and Saimir Pirgu, the most sought-after Albanian tenor on international stages, brought some of the most beautiful arias of the world repertoire, turning the night into an emotional journey that transcended the boundaries of music.
Surprises that ignited emotions
One of the most culminating moments of the evening was the first live performance of the song "Aulona", a love ballad about the city of Vlora and pure love, with lyrics by Timo Flloko and sung by Alban Skënderaj.
While Aurela Gaçe, with her unique energy and performance, performed "Hape veten ti", also with lyrics by Flloko, and brought an unforgettable performance, bringing Jahon and Pirgu together on stage in a rare musical moment.
Elegance and virtuosity
The audience was also captivated by the presence of the famous international dancer Eno Peçi, who, with two elegant artistic numbers, brought to the stage the power and delicacy of the art of ballet.
Under the direction of the virtuoso conductor, the symphony orchestra performed some of the most beautiful pieces of classical music live, creating a unique atmosphere that masterfully embraced every note.
The emotional moment was deepened with "Schindler's List", performed by the virtuoso violinist, which touched the hearts of every Albanian present.
For Albania that is becoming
The most powerful applause of the evening was captured by Timo Flloko's monologue about Albania, which is being performed by Albanians who love, live and work in this country, a sincere call for love and faith in the homeland. The whole night ended with the song "Rrjedh në këngë e li?urime", which brought the audience to their feet and filled the atmosphere with emotions and pride.
A production that made history
This production, directed by Vera Grabocka, brought a new dimension to classical and contemporary art, managing to bring together, in a busy international agenda, some of the greatest Albanian artists on the world stage for a night that is now part of Kanina's history and the memory of Albanian art.
