Ryanair has opened applications for 100 new jobs at Tirana International Airport (TIA), continuing to expand its operations in Albania. The news has been confirmed by the company, which has also announced a major strategic investment of $600 million for its Tirana base.

According to economic media, the investment includes increasing the fleet of aircraft stationed at TIA, expanding operational capacities and strengthening service structures, turning Tirana into an important hub for low-cost European routes.

The new positions are expected to include cabin crew, pilots, maintenance technicians, operational staff and administrative positions. Ryanair aims to support the growth of air traffic in the country, strengthening Albania's position as a regional hub for air transport and tourism.

Company officials emphasize that the Albanian market has shown strong and dynamic demand, with a record number of travelers in 2023–2024, which has prompted the decision for long-term investment.

This development is considered an important step for the local economy, providing not only employment opportunities, but also increased competitiveness and improvement of the aviation industry and airport services in Albania.
