The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, a few weeks ago, announced that this new school year, which will be launched on September 17, will provide free textbooks to all primary school students, from the first grade to the classroom fourth. Likewise, through the new guidance, MAS also shows how the distribution and use of free textbooks for basic education students will be made.

At the beginning of each school year, I-IV class students will receive all textbooks free of charge and some of them will be returned at the end of the school year, MAS said. Textbooks will be considered property of local education units and will be used for three years of schooling. This will reduce budget costs for purchasing these books.

School directors will send the order to the publishing house and the latter must submit the books at least 10 days before the beginning of the school year. Thus, starting from Monday (3 September 2018), the School Text Administration Commission will be responsible for distributing the texts, which is set up by the school principal.

Near the schools, students will also find a list of books approved by the school.

Meanwhile, students write and record books only with pencils and teachers will be charged to order students and to check them continuously.

For this process will be created a register that reflects the texts that each student has and there will be recorded their receipt and submission.
